When CCI teams rejoined the FIGC established two interregional divisions renaming Categories into Divisions and splitting FIGC sections into two north–south leagues. In 1926, as a consequence of internal crises and fascist pressures, the FIGC modified internal configurations, incorporating southern teams on the countrywide division, ultimately le
